Who i am?
My name is Adrian im a 3D animator from Spain.
From a very young age, I've been passionate about video games, and they're a very important part of my life. But back then, I never thought working in the industry was a real possibility. In fact, when I finished high school, I didn't know what to study, and I ended up studying marketing and advertising. I ended up working for Inditex as a sales assistant until the pandemic hit. After many years working, at 27, I took the plunge and signed up for a year-long course in video game development with Unreal Engine 4. It was mainly a course geared towards becoming an indie developer, and although 90% of the course focused on things that UE4 offers, such as programming with blueprints, materials, shaders, animation systems, and enemy programming with behavior trees, etc. But a small part of what we did was 3D modeling and 3D animation, and it was love at first sight. Creating animations and playing with them seemed incredible to me. When that course ended, I enrolled in the Animum 3D school, where I took an 18-month featured animation course. There, I learned the basics of 3D animation, body mechanics, acting, and so on.
After the course, I felt my level still wasn't high enough, and in my free time after work, I continued practicing until today.
And this is a short summary of my life. It was a little difficult at first because I thought I was too old to start a career as a 3D animator, but I think it's the best decision I've ever made.
I'm primarily looking for work as a gameplay animator. I enjoy films, but my true passion lies in video games, and that's the path I'd like to pursue.
The type of animation I most enjoy creating are action-oriented shots or more mechanical stuff.

Experience
Sadly, I don't have any professional experience as a 3D animator, but I've been practicing 3D animation for four years. During this time, I've created many animations that have gradually helped me improve a lot. I believe that one should never stop learning, and I'm an ambitious person who will continue to work very hard to be the best 3D animator I can be. Professionally, I have years of experience working in fashion stores and as a bartender on weekends. I handle pressure well, I'm very sociable, and I enjoy teamwork. I also have personal experience with Unreal Engine. I've created several small video game projects; the most notable is a VR tower defense prototype where you play as a wizard who, using VR controllers, has to draw different figures symbolizing casting spells to build different types of towers (fire, ice, nature, etc.).
I can program in blueprints and I have experience using state machines and creating basic locomotion systems with movement, jumping, and crouching.
